Key takeaways
- Profound's public brand plans changed in September 2026. Many roundups still quote stale prices, so check the live pricing page before you build a quote.
- Agency pricing comes in two shapes: a fee per client workspace (Profound) or one pooled plan shared across all clients (most alternatives).
- White-label means different things. Some tools give you branded PDFs, some give you a client portal, and some only route data to Looker Studio.
- Promptwatch, Rank Prompt, Geoptie, AI Peekaboo and Otterly all fit agency workflows, but they differ sharply on cost per client and on whether they do anything beyond monitoring.
- Most of the sources behind these rankings are vendor blogs. Treat every claim, including mine, as something to verify in a trial.
Why agencies look beyond Profound
Profound is a capable platform, and it has moved toward being a broader AI marketing platform with agents and an AI Marketer. That is fine for an enterprise marketing team. For an agency running a dozen small accounts, the economics get uncomfortable fast.
According to GeoToolbox's pricing breakdown, Profound Agency Growth costs $99/mo as a base plus $399/mo per full client workspace. Each workspace tracks 100 prompts daily across ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. The base includes 10 pitch workspaces a month for prospects. Do the math: one client is about $498/mo, five clients is about $2,094/mo. There is no API on Agency Growth; that comes with the custom Agency Enterprise tier.
Two more things to know before you compare:
- The old brand plans (Starter at $99, Growth at $399) were withdrawn from the public pricing page in mid-September 2026, according to GeoToolbox. SlateHQ says they still appear in the in-app checkout after sign-up. Confirm with Profound directly.
- Sources disagree on seats. Profound's own page says unlimited seats; GeoToolbox lists 5 on Agency Growth.
Profound

None of this makes Profound a bad product. It just means the per-client model is the thing to test against your client count. If you have two large clients, it may be fine. If you have fifteen small ones, it probably is not.
What white-label actually needs to cover
SitePoint's checklist for a Profound competitor is a decent baseline: white-label exports, API access, executive dashboards and multi-client segmentation. I would add a few agency-specific questions:
- Can a client log into a branded, read-only portal, or are you emailing PDFs?
- Is the allowance pooled across clients or charged per client?
- Do prospect or pitch workspaces count against your client limit?
- Is white-label included in the base plan, or is it an add-on?
- Are Claude and Google AI Mode included, or paid extras?
- Can you pipe data into your own reporting stack via API or Looker Studio?
One more reason to care about multi-engine coverage per client: Promptwatch Data's average sources per response report shows that ChatGPT cites about 5 sources per web-search answer, while Google AI Overviews and Perplexity cite about 10. A single-engine plan gives a client a very incomplete picture, so check which engines each tier includes.
Comparison table
Prices below come from vendor pages and third-party roundups dated September to October 2026. Treat them as starting points and confirm before quoting a client.

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Promptwatch | Pooled, metered by responses | $199/mo (Kick-off) | Branded client portal, white-label PDF exports and schedules | Yes: content agent, crawler logs, visitor analytics |
| Rank Prompt | Pooled, per-brand limits | $149/mo (50 brands) | White-label reports, client portal | Prospecting features |
| Otterly | Pooled, unlimited workspaces | $189/mo (Standard) | Branded reports via Looker Studio | Monitoring only |
| Geoptie | Pooled, per-brand limits | $99/mo for 10 brands | White-label from $99/mo | Tracking plus content |
| AI Peekaboo | Tiered | $29/mo, white-label from $100/mo | White-label reports, client dashboards | Monitoring |
| Peec AI | Tiered | about 85 EUR/mo | Thin white-label and portal features | Monitoring |
| Profound | Base plus per client | $99/mo + $399 per client | Client workspaces, pitch workspaces | Agents, AI Marketer |
The alternatives, in detail
Promptwatch
Promptwatch is the one I would put first for agencies that want to do more than screenshot dashboards. It does not charge per client. Agency plans meter AI responses instead: Kick-off at $199/mo (10,000 responses), Growth at $399/mo (25,000) and Scale at $799/mo (65,000). All three include unlimited projects, pitch projects, unlimited prompts and 10 seats, with all models tracked.
On the reporting side, you get PDF and scheduled PDF reports of any dashboard with white-label branding on exports and schedules, plus branded read-only client access and white-label workspaces for agencies. One roundup snippet claims Promptwatch's pricing page does not list white-label on any plan, while another roundup (Prefer) lists a branded client portal. Check the agency page and ask for a demo of the client-facing view before you sign.

What separates it from monitoring-only tools is the work after the report. IP-verified AI crawler logs show whether bots can actually read a client's site. Visitor analytics tie AI platforms to real traffic and conversions. Agent Chat answers questions over live client data. Agency plans do not include the Content Agent or AEO articles; those sit on the Business and Enterprise tiers. It is also ISO/IEC 27001 certified, which helps when a client's procurement team sends a security questionnaire.
The tradeoff: it is a bigger product than a simple tracker, so the learning curve is steeper than with a lightweight tool.
Rank Prompt

Rank Prompt is built around the agency use case and says so loudly. Its Agency plan is $149/mo and covers 50 brands, with white-label reports emailed to clients after each scheduled run, plus a client portal. A higher tier adds client logins and prospecting for 500 brands.
To be upfront: the ranking this comes from was published by Rank Prompt itself and puts Rank Prompt first. That does not make it wrong, but it is a reason to run your own trial. The per-brand economics do look strong on paper.

Otterly.AI
Otterly is the lightweight option. Standard is $189/mo with 100 prompts across 4 engines and unlimited workspaces; Premium is $489/mo. Annual billing is 15% off. Google AI Mode/Gemini and Claude are paid add-ons, which matters because coverage you assumed was included may not be. Client reports are branded through Looker Studio rather than a native white-label portal, so expect some setup work.
Otterly.AI

Geoptie
Geoptie offers white-label client reporting from $99/mo with unlimited seats on every plan, and the Professional tier covers 10 brands. It also handles unmetered audits and content generation. The catch is that it tracks four engines per brand at a time, so check that your clients' priority engines are covered.
AI Peekaboo
AI Peekaboo starts at $29/mo, with white-label reporting from $100/mo, plus client dashboards and Looker Studio support. It is a good fit for small agencies that want configurable monitoring and are fine with a more basic feature set.

Peec AI
Peec AI comes up repeatedly as the pick for agencies because every plan includes unlimited seats and per-tier pricing is published, starting around 85 EUR/mo. The weak spot is branding: its white-label and portal features are thinner than a dedicated agency platform, so you do more manual work to produce client-ready output. Its Scale tier is about $795/mo, which is what ten clients at 50 prompts on 3 models daily would need.
Rankability and SE Ranking
If your agency already sells traditional SEO, two suite-style options are worth a look. Rankability positions itself as an agency platform that combines research, content, AI visibility tracking and agency-branded PDF reports. SE Ranking adds AI tracking to existing client reports, though white-label and API access may require add-ons, so price the full configuration.

Others worth a trial
LLM Pulse offers white-label arrangements and volume pricing at Enterprise level. Scrunch AI is oriented more toward a brand's own team than toward an agency running many accounts, so test its multi-brand pricing carefully. Gauge and Rankscale also target agencies.
For a wider shortlist, the GEO software directory at bestgeosoftware.com and the AI rank tracker listings at ai-rank-tools.com are useful places to keep comparing.
Per-client vs pooled pricing, with numbers
Here is a rough sketch for a five-client book, using the published prices above.
| Setup | Approximate monthly cost for 5 clients |
|---|---|
| Profound Agency Growth | about $2,094 |
| Promptwatch Kick-off | $199 (response-metered) |
| Rank Prompt Agency | $149 |
| Otterly Standard | $189 |
| Geoptie Professional | $99 |
Those figures are not apples to apples. The cheaper tools meter prompts, responses or engines differently, and Profound's workspaces include 100 daily prompts per client on three engines. Divide your actual prompt count by what each plan allows before deciding. A pooled plan only wins if your total volume fits inside it.
How to run a fair trial
- Pick two real clients, one small and one with several competitors. Load the same 30 to 50 prompts into every tool.
- Export a client report from each tool and send it to a colleague who has not seen the dashboards. Ask which one they would be comfortable forwarding to a client.
- Check the branding depth: logo, colors, custom domain, and whether the vendor name appears anywhere.
- Add a third account mid-trial to see how painful onboarding a new client is.
- Ask each vendor for the exact limits on engines, seats, API and pitch workspaces in writing.
- Verify prices on the vendor's own page. Most roundups, including the ones I drew from, are written by competing vendors.
Which one should you pick?
- Want reporting plus the ability to fix what the data shows (crawler access, content gaps, AI traffic): Promptwatch.
- Want the cheapest path to branded reports for many small clients: Rank Prompt, Geoptie or AI Peekaboo.
- Want simple monitoring and already live in Looker Studio: Otterly.
- Already run a traditional SEO stack: SE Ranking or Rankability.
- Have a few large enterprise clients and want Profound's agents: stay on Profound, but price it per workspace.
If you would rather hand the whole thing to specialists, 1001 SEO Media runs AI search and GEO work for brands and uses Promptwatch as its visibility platform.
Pick two or three tools, run the same clients through each for a week, and let the exported report decide. That is the part your clients will actually see.
